Classification of Standard Weights
The weights are classified based on INMETRO Ordinance No. 233, of December 22 of 1994, which approves the _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad 5cf58d_ Metrological Technical Regulation, considering the International Regulation R 111 (94) OIML .
The weights are divided into 7 (seven) classes.

Classe de Accuracy
Class E1 and E2:
Solid stainless steel weights, without marking on their surface and without adjustment chamber.
Class F1:
Stainless steel weights with adjustment chamber made of the same material, allow marking of the nominal value on its surface.
Class F2:

Class M1:
Weights in stainless steel, brass or cast iron (with good paint quality). They must bear the indication of the nominal value on their surface, followed by the M1 or M symbol.
Class M2:

Class M3:
The material must have hardness and corrosion resistance at least equal to cast brass and the brittleness does not exceed that of cast brass. gray cast iron. Class M3 weights must bear the M3 or X symbol, in raised or lower relief, together with the indication of the nominal value.
